St. Brendan's Vegetable Garden of Hope

 

Join us as we plant and grow!

 

It's that time of year again!  We're ramping up efforts to kick off another successful year of harvesting!  

 

We are in need of volunteers to help us maintain and grow the St. Brendan's Garden of Hope Vegetable Garden.  We're looking for gardneres of all skill levels!  Whether you have zero experience or you're a master gardener, join us!

 

If you have even 30 minutes a week to stop by the church to water or weed it would be sooo helpful

The purpose of this effort is to reach out to our neighbors who are struggling with food insecurity.  At St. Brendan’s we’re keenly aware of the lack of access to fresh produce for many of our neighbors. Short term we are providing fresh produce directly to the North Hills Food Bank.  As the project is ongoing, we plan to reach out to other organizations. 

 

We've been fortunate to receive thank you notes from both the North Hills Food Bank as well as a personal recipient who benefit from our garden.
