St.  Brendan’s biggest fundraiser of the year is Holiday Happenings, which occurs on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. In 2025 the all-day event will take place on November 22. 

 

  • Dozens of vendors form a veritable marketplace of clothing, jewelry, pottery, specialty foods, home decor and holiday crafts for sale.

  • Church members prepare several varieties of soups in advance that are sold by the quart.

  • The church’s famous Cookie Walk invites visitors to purchase an empty bakery box and fill it with their choice of at least 80 varieties of home-baked treats.

  • Three baskets of assorted gifted cards, with a total value over $1,000, are raffled off.

  • Local student choruses set the Christmas shopping mood with their vocal selections.
